    Description:

    American Musical Theatre of San Jose needs a professional dance teacher/choreographer for our Theatre Arts Conservatory that meets five days a week, six hours a day, for five weeks to build performance skills in acting, dance, and voice. This exciting program is open to all performers, ages 14 to adult.


    MAJOR DUTIES: Coordinate lesson plans with the Director of Education & Outreach Organize classroom supplies Create lesson plans that build skills in a sequential format Provide guidance and resources to students Lead group warm-ups and theatre games as need be Perform administrative duties Coordinate culminating activities with students and teachers for the Final Workshop Time Commitment: Orientation Session


    Program runs: Monday, July 7, 2008 - Friday, August 8, 2008


    Monday to Friday 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM


    (3) one-hour and fifteen minute class sessions per day; one planning period/break per day


    Compensation: $800/week
