    Lincoln High School is seeking a music director for its acclaimed musical theatre program.


    Duties include: vocal direction of two musicals, teaching and conducting two student pit orchestras, attending auditions, providing an audition workshop, attending award ceremonies or special events when the program is called upon.


    Candidate should demonstrate excellence in musical ability both vocally and instrumentally. Candidate should have a good knowledge of the musical theatre repertoire. Candidate should be willing to work in a cooperative environment with the director and choreographer. Candidate should be able to effectively teach and inspire teenage performers.


    Applicant with a California Teaching Credential in Music is preferred but not required.
