    Seeking actors for videos and other materials relating to an ‘Immersive Media Narrative’


    We are producing an “Immersive Media Narrative” (IMN)– A new form of entertainment that involves both online and offline media content to drive participants forward in an interweaving multi-sensory narrative experience. Part scavenger hunt, choose your own adventure, and exploration of public space, the IMN is designed to re-engineer the way that players interact with media, space, and each other. It is similar to an “Alternate Reality Game”, but created for an audiences far beyond the traditional “gamer” demographic.


    Genre: “Magical Realism” wherein mystical / fantastical events are portrayed in a flat, documentary style. (Absence of melodrama, or “fantasy/sci-fi” motifs / indicators).


    Actors will be primarily seen on video and in still photographs produced for introduction into the IMN. Actors should be available for a half day photoshoot in July. Most video will be produced over a three day shooting cycle (depending on the role) in August. Preference will be given to actors who will have continued availability for follow-up shoots in the fall.


    Auditions will start the week of July 14th. This is a paid project.
