Interested in being a part of a dynamic volunteer team to support a fun arts festival during the Labor Day weekend? VOLUNTEER AT WWW.TAPESTRYARTS.ORG Tapestry Arts began as part of the country’s bicentennial celebration and continues to this day with the annual Tapestry Arts Festival each Labor Day Weekend. The festival is a three-day celebration of the visual and performing arts held on the streets of downtown San Joe. Revenue from the festival provides money to bring arts outreach to our neighborhoods and art education to our local schools. Go to www.tapestryarts.org for the Volunteer Application form. Tapestry Arts is looking for volunteers to assist in various concessions areas and “CRETIVITY ZONE” during its three-day festival in downtown San Jose on August 30, 31 and September 1 (Labor Day Weekend). Volunteers are needed to be beverage servers in our concessions areas and assist with art projects in the Creativity Zone. No previous experience is required.. Requirements • Friendly and flexible attitude ia all that’s required! • Volunteers must be 21 and over to serve alcoholic beverages. • Morning (9:30am – 2:30pm and afternoon (2:00 pm - 6:00pm) shifts are available for all three days of the festival.
