Peninsula Youth Theatre is looking for Lighting Designers/Board Operators for their “Stories on Stage” series. The time commitment is short, only 4 days total per production and there is a stipend of $200-$250 per show (DOE). Below show dates are listed. Stories on Stage is a bare bones black box series of 8 productions. The shows run anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour (on the long side). There is only one day of TECH. Each shows time commitment is small and requires attendance at the final rehearsal, TECH (one day long) and 4-5 performances over two days. The Lighting Designer/Board will work in conjunction with the Director to create an artistic vision, utilize and design with the theater's Rep plot, use Peninsula Youth Theatre's available lighting and color inventory to add specials (if necessary), focus the rep plot, programming the light board during TECH and running the light board for 4-5 performances.
