Children's Musical Theater of San Jose, the nation's largest theatre for youth, is seeking a new Managing Director to help lead the company's staff, board, and volunteers in best serving the organization's mission and vision.

The Managing Director has a dual-leadership role, working in concert with the Artistic Director, Kevin Hauge, to ensure the quality of productions and programs, the efficient use of staff and volunteer resources and the implementation of long-term strategies developed in conjunction with the board of directors. In this leadership capacity, considerable effort should be expended toward directing and supporting the Parents’ Auxiliary group which provides considerable in-kind support to the agency.

Duties: Organizational leadership/development, financial acumen & fiscal sustainability (Annual operating budget of over $2 mil), demonstrated revenue generation track record. Governance: Fiduciary duties, Board & Fund Development, Community & Government Relations, facilities & equipment management. Proven leadership: Senior management experience, collaborative in decision-making, Strong conceptual, analytical, & communication skills. Commitment to arts/theater/youth organizations.
