Chorus audition for West Bay Opera's winter production, "Der

Freischuetz" by Karl Maria von Weber, will be held on Saturday, Oct.

31, 11 AM - 2 PM, and on Saturday, Nov. 7, 11 AM - 2 PM.

The chorus figures prominently in this work, including numbers for men

only and for women only. Tenors and basses are particularly sought but

all voice parts (SATB) are invited to audition.

About the Production

General Director Jose Luis Moscovich

director and conductor. Stage director Yuval Sharon

(http://www.yuvalsharon.com/) will be making his West Bay Opera debuts

with this production. The production will also feature the KUNST-STOFF

Dance Company (http://www.kunst-stoff.org/about.php).

The opera will be sung in German.

Rehearsal/performance schedule

First music rehearsal is Saturday, Dec 12, 2009.

First staging rehearsal will be in Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010.

Performances are February 19, 21, 27 and 28.
