    This summer Foothill Music Theatre performs Show Boat, a landmark musical that proved musicals could tell a serious story and deal with serious themes. This Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II classic, which originally premiered in 1927, has seen several revisions over the years. Foothill presents the newly revised version by legendary director Harold Prince.
