Actor/writer Marco Greco recreates his fabulous solo show Behind the Counter with Mussolini the critically acclaimed off-Broadway hit, out in Los Angeles, CA! It's the amazing story of a young boy's journey into manhood, behind the deli counter, under the shadow of a Calabrese dictator...his father! Marco Greco’s solo performance was well received when it played at the Tamarind in 1999, and he’s back and just as funny as ever. When Michele "Mike" Greco began working behind the counter at this Arthur Avenue deli in 1949, he had no idea that one day he'd own it, make it New York's destination for fresh mozzarella, pass it on to his eldest son, Dave, or have it immortalized in Behind the Counter With Mussolini, a play by his younger son, Marco.
