The hard rockin cool groovin vocal revolution Hookslide is a high energy mix of mind blowing vocal percussion, booming bass and screaming four-part harmony that is guaranteed to knock you out. No instruments? No Problem! Based in San Carlos, this CARA award-winning vocal group has traveled throughout the nation and has worked with groups from Kool and the Gang to Tower of Power! The group has visited cities from Anchorage to Boston and has recently performed on the Capitol Mall in Washington, DC and on stage at the Lincoln Center in New York City. Hookslide has performed over 200 shows around the country for all kinds of corporate, festival, club, college, charity and other organizations including The San Francisco Giants, Palm Incorporated and Amgen International. The group claims to sing five parts with only four members. How do they do it? Come to the show to find out!

Event Name: Four Winds, Native American Music & Dance
"Great event"
Review posted by: Allison from Bay Area, CA, Jul 20, 2008
The CSMA has a wonderful program of free cultural performances for families. Four Winds was an example of the terrific programming. It instilled an interest in native american culture in our son.

Not only is the Kulintang music and dance beautiful, but this group performed wonderfully for their audience - the children and the adults were captivated.
