    I so enjoyed 'Ragtime' and the production by TheatreWorks a while ago that I made a point to catch this musical too. I am SO glad I did. The music, the voices and the production is really stellar.... Expand

The music, the voices and the production is really stellar. Although I had a balcony seat, I could understand every word and see every nuance in the wonderful Mt. View Center for the Performing Arts. Good theater is oh so very good and Great Theater is even better! Thanks and praise to all who are involved! Collapse

    We were privileged to see Dessa Rose this last week. The music is wonderful, cast is superb, story is ultimately uplifting, sets and choreography unique and well done. Some of us in the audience could not hear all the dialogue clearly, but I think that was a technical problem. Special kudos to Dessa Rose and Ruth for very touching and powerful performances.     It's great to see something refreshing, soulful, heartwarming and educational. It warmed my heart with warm singing and comardarie between the characters in the muscial. I recommend it!
