The SSF Cultural Arts Commission, in partnership with the Unified School District is delighted to announce its 2006 YOUTH ART SHOW. This colorful and exciting exhibit showcases the artistic visual creations of talented youth from the SSF Unified School District. The work of students from grades K-12, will be represented. Art in various media including sculpture, ceramics, watercolor, photography, mixed media and pen & ink drawing will be on exhibit. There also will be performing and literary art presentations by youth artists. Performing artists include: the APOP Hawaiian Cultural Center, Ballet Folklorico Infantil of SSF, the Pied Piper Players, Puppets on Parade, the SSF Recreation Ballet Program, teen poets from the SSF library and more! Back by popular demand, the Saturday craft corner will feature hat making.
