Really enjoyed the show. Thought all the actors did quite well especially Carly Honfi as Ginger. But all were good. Excellent production values with the set, sound, costumes, and music.

Whether or not you have any nostalgia at all for the television show, it's worth spending a night with this terrific cast that reminds us of why the original show worked as well as it did. The show plays as an extended episode of the series, and while it's not going to be winning a Pulitzer, the music is light and fun and works well enough to keep the audience entertained. The sets, lighting, and costumes are perfectly evocative of the TV show, and a notch above most community fare. But it's the cast, who manages to capture the essence of each of the original characters and bring themselves into the roles that makes it all so worthwhile. From the touching relationship of the Howells, to the unabashed drama of Ginger (with sparkling vocals), the perfectly-intoned documentary voice of the professor, the innocence of Gilligan and Mary-Ann, and the brassy baritone of the Skipper, the cast doesn't miss a mark. See this while you still can! Collapse

We chose to spend this past Sunday supporting a few fellow actor friends in a light musical matinee. Our family wound up being marooned with the crew of The Minnow in a sadly distant era, when times were much, much simpler and humor wasn't about the bad language, but more about the comedy of our human condition. This musical version of "Gilligan's Island" is a genuine treat; like kicking back in your old easy chair and reminiscing on those happier innocent days of the late 1950s and early 1960s... The well-balanced and taleted cast was adeptly suited to play at this remote oasis of bumbling madness, and kept our appreciative audience laughing and laughing. Take the whole family to this show before it sails away next week. There is truly something to tickle everyone's funnybone. I appreciated Steve Wathen's usual phenominal sets, Bob Sunshine's funky musicians who had me tapping my toes and the cast who brought such joy to our hearts. What a nice way to spend two hours, thank you ATC! Collapse

I'm not sure where to start praising this gem of a show. It's laugh-out-loud funny, tuneful and packed with talent. ATC has really pulled it all together, with quality performers, sets, lighting, costumes and orchestra. I probably see at least 5 or 6 area shows a month, and I have to say this one really stands out for both entertainment and production values. Don't miss it - you won't see it performed again soon, and certainly not this well! Collapse

After a particularly stressful day at work, I went to dinner with friends and then to see Gilligan's Island. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. The music is great and the actors emote their little hearts out. Carly Honfi, who plays Ginger, just steals the show. Go see it before it's gone! Collapse

ATC has assembled a really talented cast for this show. Carly Honfi as Ginger is a knockout in so many ways, and both the Skipper and Mary Ann are standout performers. In the numbers when the cast comes together, the harmonies are spot on and the characterizations are wonderful. The book and lyrics leave much to be desired, but if you're a fan of the TV show, I'm sure you will find lots of things in this show to keep you entertained. Collapse

What a voice, funny and talented. The skipper, gilligan, professor, Mary Ann and the spaceman were wonderful. They are all very talented. I enjoyed the duet with Mr. and Mrs. Howell, you can tell they are in love. Although the theatre had many empty seats, everyone enjoyed the show. I highly recommend this show for an evening of fun and laughter. Tell your friends and let's fill up the theatre. Come and support the Arts. Collapse

If you were a fan of the TV show, you'll enjoy this fun musical version. Carly Honfi is perfect as Ginger -- vampy and funny at the same time. Kudos also go to the rest of the cast for nailing the personas we all know so well -- particularly MaryAnne and the Professor. There are a couple of moments that drag, but overall it's a really strong show. Collapse

These girls were awesome!!! The show reminded me so much of the TV series, and I can't get some of the tunes out of my head. YAY! to ATC for doing something new & different. The Howells talents were rich and prosperous, the Professor was a smart pre-dotcom nerd with excellent pipes, Gilligan bumbles his way into trouble and finds ways to make it all right, and the Skipper was the Skipper! So, actually I applaud the whole cast, but man those girls are HOT!! Who'd want to get rescued with them around? GO SEE IT and sit in front row!!! G-I-N-G-E-R 's baaackkk! Collapse

and you'll hear a tell. I had the opportunity to see this show on OPENING NIGHT and I was truely impressed. It isn't a GREAT show but it is lots of fun and I had a good time. The Skipper, Ginger, and Mary Anne, really worked on researching their characters because they were SPOT on. The songs are great (except for the silly Heiroglyph song...cut it), the set is fabulous and the show will bring back some good memories. This is a show that you will want to see and you will have fun. The performers are all very good and you could tell they were having a good time on stage. The book needs a work as well but I think the show is still a work in progress and it is still a lot of fun. Standouts are definitely Carly Honfi as Ginger, Roberty Sholty as Skipper, and Rena Wilson as Mary Anne. There is a great moment between the Howells as Ray and Joanne, a real married couple, sing a sweet duet together. Gilligan is probably the only weak link of the bunch but has a great voice. Collapse
