Add Review/CommentA Provocative Musical Play Music and lyrics by Lance Horne Book and lyrics by Winter Miller Conceived by Josh Hecht and Winter Miller Raised as a girl in the isolated convents of 19th century France, Amandine was born wrong. With each year her differences from the other girls become more clear, and her longings more confusing. Identified as a male at the age of 22, she is forced to remake her life as a man. A provocative musical look at gender and sexuality based on the remarkable true story of Herculina Barbin.
