Add Review/CommentJaffe displays black and white photographs chronicling her experiences on the uncertain and perhaps unproductive path towards parenthood. Creating constructions out of organic and inorganic materials such as bird eggs, fire, water, toys, and clothing materials, the artist photographs the short-lived scenes in the hopes of preserving the art, perhaps giving birth to something that will last beyond the life of the props themselves. Jaffe, a recipient of many photographic awards during the past few years, utilizes both digital and film cameras in her work.
