    Renegade Theatre Experiment

    November 2-November 25, 2006

Wayside School was supposed to be 30 classrooms, one story high; but by mistake it was built straight up 30 stories. And that's not all that's funny here. This bizarre building is home to cows, rats, a ghost and a teacher that turns her students into apples. This show’s quirky humor will appeal to children of all ages.

The above is what my two kids said after watching this play. I do wish it started earlier since it was almost 10pm when it ended.

The few kids that were there for the Friday night show loved it. The adults that were there got a big kick out of it too. Technically this show is great. Colorful props, set, GREAT music and sound effects, fantastic costuming and rich lighting all of this enhancing the fun (though very over the top) acting of the adults playing the kids. I laughed and chuckled throughout. This show is full of silly, random jokes, but it's a fun night. Collapse
