    Ensemble Mirable Chamber Orchestra, led by Continuo duo JungHae Kim and Joanna Blendulf, returns after their outstanding 2006 concert. This time they bring us violin virtuoso and master teacher Stanley Ritchie, a driving force behind the early music movement. Professor at Indiana University Music School’s Early Music Institute since 1980, he has directed and appeared as baroque violin soloist with many period instrument ensembles, including The Academy of Ancient Music, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and Tafelmusik. On modern violin, he has also been Concertmaster for the New York City Opera Orchestra, and was Associate Concertmaster for the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Program: Bach, Concerto for Solo Violin in E Major, BWV 1042, Concerto for Two Violins in A Minor, BWV 1043, Harpsichord Concerto in A Major, BWV 1055, and more. Pre-concert talk: Roger Emanuels.
