    Beaux Arts Trio, pre-eminent and enduring ensemble which debuted at Tanglewood in 1955, now debuts at the Trianon – 52 years, and over 6,000 performances and 50 recordings later! Founding pianist Menahem Pressler is Distinguished Professor of Music at Indiana Univ. and has taught there since 1955. Brilliant young British violinist Daniel Hope, Trio member since 2002, is a double Grammy nominee and double ECHO Klassik prize-winner. Brazilian Cellist Antonio Meneses, Trio member since 1998, was Munich First Prize winner and Tchaikovsky gold medallist. Pre-concert talk: Dr. Bill Meredith, Director, Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies, San Jose State University. Program: Schubert, Notturno in Eb Major, Op.148, D.897, Shostokovich, Trio #2 in E Minor, Op.67, Beethoven, Trio in Bb Major, Op.97 (“Archduke”).
