For anyone wanting to relive the sounds of the '60s, the musical revue Beehive is the perfect opportunity. The revue, created by the late Larry Gallagher, presents songs made popular by the ladies of pop and rock.

    Great show with terrific performances all around. If you are over 40 it will bring back memories. The actors are all so hillarious, the costumes are amazing and the set and orchestra really round out... Expand

The actors are all so hillarious, the costumes are amazing and the set and orchestra really round out the whol show. I haven't had this much fun a the theatre in a long time. The only downside is a misplaced segment that brings back the horror of the Kennedy and King assassinations. It seemed really out of place in this show. Diane Milo's vocal direction is superb. All the women, born way after the 60s, captured perfectly the spirit of the artists that originally performed the music. At times they approached parody, but never crossed the line.     I was able to see this great little show yesterday and had a wonderful time. BEEHIVE takes us through the 60's and the wonderful girl groups and singers that came from that era. Everyone was fantastic. My favorite part was the Aretha Franklin medley with Jijuana, Katie, and Jeanne. This is a show that will bring back lots of memories and will put a smile on your face. They may even have you singing along. Kudos to this wonderful cast and to Melissa O'Keefe for leading the show. Collapse
