This stylized, not nearly as dark as you'd think, 5 person, 92 minute version of the classic novel is really quite interesting and well worth a look. I appluad Northside for taking on this atypical and important piece. Several actors play multiple roles in the retelling of the events that lead up to brutal crime. The philosophy and psychology of this play are so key to its climatci flow and it is presented in such a way that you can't help but be emotionally invested in the outcome. Arguments are made convincingly, and the acting is solid, the lights and set send you to Russia instantly. You will be surprised how much you actually enjoy this drama. Collapse
