"Twelfth Night is one of the most accessible of Shakespeare's plays. It features one of the most outrageous and memorable of Shakespeare's comic characters, the self-loving steward Malvolio, and an engaging plot that centers on mistaken identity that unravels at a fast pace," says Foothill College Drama Instructor Amy Gonzalez who directs the production. "There is something for everyone in this play's delicious language, revelry and trickery, and most of all, love stories that range from the sublime to the ridiculous." Twelfth Night revolves around a shipwreck, separated twins, misplaced passions and mistaken identity. Love rules all, including a self-deluded steward who dreams of becoming a count. The show is suitable for audiences of all ages.
