    Greater Tuna is the hilarious comedy about Texas’ third-smallest town, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens that make up the town of Tuna are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful. The show began as a simple party skit more than 20 years ago and has gone on to international fame and spawned two sequels. Variety called Greater Tuna “as clever as it is entertaining” with a script that does “remarkable things with downhome stuff which often becomes hilarious."

        This two man show demonstrates the talents of a pair of great actors performing a dozen or more characters each and a script that is full of laughs. Fantastic costumimg, quick changes, and hilarious content in addition to the astounding character work on stage, proves SJ Stage is back with a winner. Hightail it over to the kooky town of Tuna, Texas, now located just downtown in San Jose. Collapse

        Another fantastic production by San Jose Stage. Both performers do an absolutely amazing job. Laugh out loud funny. Technically tight. A MUST SEE!
