    Meet Bay Area artists in the Quilt National exhibition and a show juror. Artist Judith Content will discuss the evolution of her shibori-dyed and quilted work, from wearable art to multiple-storied site-specific installations. She will also introduce the Studio Art Quilt Associates and its mission. Artist Jean Williams Cacidedo will survey her work and the role of the quilt in her vocabulary. She will discuss the narrative aspect of her work in both its wearable and hanging forms. Artist and show juror Miriam Nathan-Roberts will talk about her experience as a Quilt National juror and emerging trends in contemporary quilts.

        These aren't quilts as in bedcovers, these are quilts as in art pieces that hang on the wall. They are in all sizes and shapes and are really paintings made of fabric. A must-see.
