    On The Town is the story of three sailors on a 24-hour leave in New York City, prior to being shipped off to Europe during World War II. Their odyssey through the Big Apple is a discovery of excitement, adventure and love. Bernstein's brilliant, first Broadway score and his first Broadway collaboration with Jerome Robbins and Comden and Green, is a joyous musical homage to love, youth and New York City.
