    Jana McBurney-Lin will discuss her novel, My Half of the Sky, the story of a young woman caught in the crucible of change affecting her village in southern China. While the narrative is set in China/Singapore, the story is universal: the struggle of the modern versus the traditional. Forbes chose My Half of the Sky for their book club; National Booksense chose the title as an August Pick of the Month; and recently it was accepted as a Pulitzer consideration. Come join her.
