    On December 10th at 3pm, more than 500 dancers will converge on the College of San Mateo Gymnasium for the 34th Annual Holiday Festival of Dance - an annual event sponsored by the City of San Mateo's Park and Recreation Department and the San Mateo Dance Association. Through the magic of theatre, dance and a lot of hard work by many volunteers, the gym is transformed into a holiday theatrical production, complete with lighting, music, costumes and choreography. This year's presentation is the 34th Anniversary of this magical production and will feature dancers currently within the City's Youth and Adult Dance Programs, as well as City employees who perform in our famous Reindeer and the City Women's Dances. This year's production is entitled "The Toy Shop Tale" and is sure to warm hearts both young and old. Tickets are $8 in advance and $9 at the door for age 13 and older, and free for those younger than 12 years of age. For more information, options for volunteer work or to order tickets, please call Joan Diskin at 522-7448. Extra Info: Ticket and rehearsal information will be distributed in class. In most cases, an $8 costume fee has been added to the cost of each class. Portions of costumes will need to be returned in order to keep costume costs reasonable.
