This comic farce is adapted by the actor/clown Bill Irwin and Mark O'Donnell from Moliere's The Mischievous Misadventures of Scapin. Two fathers, two sons, two servants, two wives, two wives-to be and two betrothals going-going-gone awry amid silly schemes and clever machinations led by the crafty Scapin. This hysterically funny, incredibly clever, and very unconventional modern adaptation of this classic marries vaudeville and commedia dell'arte with 20th century movie cliches thrown in for added hilarity! There is a final chase and dance among all the participants, which, inevitably, becomes the raucous, delightful curtain call.
