    We open the concert with music from the master of choral writing, J.S.Bach. Jesu,meine Freude, the most expansive of his motets, is simply sublime and will transport you to another plane. In a triple transformation, our artistic director Sanford Dole, as a composer, turns “Invitation to the Voyage,” Edna St.Vincent Millay’s translation of Baudelaire’s “L’invitation au voyage,” into a brand new choral work. Finally, enjoy your favorite Beatles songs in arrangements written for the King’s Singers that cleverly transform pop classics into classical choral music.
