The Children's Theatre has, once again, come through for us with a fantastic show. What a great way to celebrate the theatre's 75th birthday! Be warned, however, that this is not the Disney version of the play. Instead, it is a great rendition of the original fairy tale with just the right balance of humor and suspense. The actors (some 50 of them ranging in ages 8 through 18) are charming, the costumes are terrific, and the set is truly magnificent. The female leads (the witch, the queen, and the peddler, in particular) are outstanding and the dwarfs (Blick, Flick, Glick, Snick, Plick, Whick, and Quee) are adorable. Collapse
