    San Jose Youth Symphony (SJYS) Presents Folk Fest! The first half of this matinee performance is dedicated to American music, and the second half to East European and Latin influences (Spanish and Mexican). Featured are four outstanding young soloists – two SJYS Philharmonic Orchestra members and winners of the Philharmonic Concerto Competition – flutists, Ray Furuta & Lauren Gripenstraw and, two local musicians - violinists Vivian Luo and Theodore Chao, winners of the Young Artist Competition (YAC), proudly sponsored by the San Jose Symphony Foundation.

      Parking is available on South First Street in back of Eulipia Restaurant. You can access this lot from South Second Street. Parking garages are also available at the San Jose Convention Center accessible from both Market Street and North Almaden Avenue.
