    The hundred-voice Chorale performs with the orchestra in two larger-than-life works. Brahms's Schicksalslied (Song of Destiny) opens the concert. This meditation on human and divine fate is intense and moving. Then experience Beethoven's magnificent final masterpiece, Symphony No. 9 in D minor Choral, with its triumphant choral 'Ode to Joy.' Brazilian born conductor Fabio Mechetti debuts with us in this moving program.
