    The South Bay Guitar Society presents a Demonstration & Conversation with classical guitarist Zaira Meneses. Born in Xalapa in the state of Veracruz, Mexico, Ms. Meneses won first prize in a national competition and went on to perform in concert tours around the world with the famed Orquesta de Guitarras founded by Maestro Alfonso Moreno. She has studied with Enrique Salmeron, Alfredo Sanchez, Roberto Aguirre and Dimitry Goryachev. Ms. Meneses is a founding member of the Boston Guitar Quartet. Location: Community Room, Biblioteca Latinoamericana Branch, San Jose Library, 921 S. 1st Street, San Jose.
