    Tennessee Williams' free adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. Constantine premieres his new play at his uncle's lakeside estate. The group, idling away the languid summer months, includes his mother the famous actress, Madame Arkadina; her companion, the charmingly successful author, Boris Trigorin; and Nina, the young actress whom Constantine dotes on but who only has eyes for Trigorin. The interweaving of their lives, the romance, hope and disappointment create a compelling tapestry evocative of real people and life that ultimately culminates in a deeply moving experience.
