Music of Gershwin, McBeth, Revueltas, and others to be featured in Ohlone Wind Orchestra's Second Spring Concert. The concert features Jerry Brubaker's transcription of Gershwin's An American in Paris and W. Francis McBeth's soul-stirring Of Sailors and Whales. Plus Caesar Giovannini's Overture to a New Era, Eric Whitacre's Lux Arumque (Light and Gold), David Holsinger's Havendance, and Frank Bencriscutto's sensational arrangement of Revueltas'Sensemaya, and Friedrich Wanek's transcription of five movements from Orff's Carmina Burana, featuring the Ohlone woodwinds.
