Add Review/CommentJoin the West Valley Masterworks Chorale and Chamber Singers in their final concert of the season featuring Eric Whitacre's A Boy and a Girl and This Marriage, Brahms' Warum ist das Licht gegeben, Daniel Pinkham's Wedding Cantata, and Henry Mollicone's When the Stars are Gone, among others. The repertoire explores various permutations of love and promise between a man and a woman, and between Man and God. Henry Mollicone, director of the Winchester Orchestra which is in residence at West Valley College, was a student of the late Daniel Pinkham, so the pairing of the songs of love by these two composers is fitting.
