Held in one of the three remaining Japantowns in the United States, this free outdoor festival offers a rich cultural experience complete with dance, food, music and games. It is a summertime tradition for generations of local families.

I've attended this event at least 2 times previously and it is always fun. (bring water,hat,etc.--it will be hot.)

This is both the biggest and best of the Oban Festivals for the curious. There is a good ethnic and cultural mix so everyone can feel at home. Sit through one of the Buddhism 101 talks to get off your... Expand
This is both the biggest and best of the Oban Festivals for the curious. There is a good ethnic and cultural mix so everyone can feel at home. Sit through one of the Buddhism 101 talks to get off your feet for 1/2 hour! I try to go every year. Collapse
