The complexity and beauty of the human body, preserved through Plastination, the groundbreaking method of preservation invented by anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens. More than 200 authentic human specimens offer visitors profound insights into the form and function of the human body, wellness and disease, and the mysterious world of the brain. From infancy to adolescence, and adulthood to old age, the breain chisels, refines, matures, and transforms itself. Body Worlds 2 and the Three Pound Gem includes a special debut feature on the brain inspired by the latest findings in neuroscience.
