Formed in Vancouver, BC in 2000, the Borealis String Quartet is Quartet-in-Residence at the University of British Columbia. Performing in sold-out concert halls in every province and frequently featured on CBC Radio, the ensemble has created a sensation across Canada with its dynamic performances, passionate style and refined musical interpretations. Program includes: Mozart, String Quartet in B-flat Major, K. 589 Imant Raminsh, "A Falcon, a Storm, or a Great Song" Puccini, "Crisantemi" ("Chrysanthemums") Beethoven, String Quartet in f minor, Op. 95, ("Serioso")
