In 1941, German physicist Werner Heisenberg paid a secret visit to his Danish counterpart, Niels Bohr and his wife, Margrethe, at their home in Nazi-occupied Copenhagen. As a student and mentor in the 1920s, Heisenberg and Bohr revolutionized atomic science. Now, these two Nobel scientists are on opposite sides of a world war and pivotal players in a race to develop nuclear weaponry.
