It is 1953 and Margaret Johnson is touring the Italian countryside with her daughter, Clara. While sighseeing, Clara - a beautiful, charmingly naive young woman - loses her hat in a sudden gust. It lands at the feet of Fabrizio, a handsome Florentine, who returns it. This brief exchange, charged with coincidence and fate, sparks an enchanting musical romance forcing Margaret to reconsider the truth about Clara and what may be an unexpected chance for future happiness.

    Fantastic production! The leads (and ensemble too)are all first class, better than the touring production! The lighting is nothing short of spectacular,the costumes are gorgeous. Dominique Bonino as Clara is a special treat. It is hard to believe she is only 17, what a star and she sings like an angel! Diana Torres Koss is such a pleasure to watch and listen to, and Justin Taylor Nixon's voice is just to die for. Go see this production before it closes! Collapse

    This ambitious production by Players has incredible lighting, sets, and costumes-- the most beautiful looking show i've seen in a long time-- but it also has a great cast, with great voices and some really fine performances. I really liked Clara, and Diana tores-koss as Maragaet. It's a don't miss! Collapse
