    Following the success of 2006's Hangin' with the Giants, JazzReach returns with Get Hip!, an entertaining, interactive, multi-media introduction to jazz that illuminates some of the music's cultural origins, the concept of improvisation, and the function and responsibility of each individual component of the jazz ensemble. In addition to fostering a greater appreciation for jazz, the program - featuring all original music written by renowned composer/recording artist Larry Goldings, an all original script, live narration, large screen projections, and audience participation - aims to use the ensemble as a vehicle to promote the value of community interaction, cooperation, teamwork, and self-expression.
