This entertaining program will provide students with insight into the music, lives, and personalities of three of the greatest composers of all time: Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven. Classic works of these three giants will be performed by SFCO's wonderful musicians, with the addition of some rising young stars from local communities in solo roles. A movement from Bach's Concerto in D minor for Two Violins & Orchestra features Stephen Kim & Angela The, two young violinists from the Peninsula; a movement from Mozart's Horn Concerto #2 in D Major showcases Alicia Telford on French horn; and a movement from Beethoven's String Quartet Op. 95 is performed by the string orchestra. Prelude, a work by contemporary Bay Area composer Richard Aldag, completes the program. This concert is a must for introducing children to the beauty of classical music!

I didn't know what to think, I mean, my daughter and I don't know Sign Language but I wanted her to see the play. After seeing it... not only was it very interesting because all the characters use sign language but they voice everything too. The show was amazing. Lot's of high energy just for the kids and lots of audience interaction with the actors during the show. William Morgan sure knows his stuff and knows how to entertain children. Collapse

Loved it! As a transposed Asheville,Western North Carolinian moving to Foster City in 1971, I was homesick for the Blue Ridge Mountains' song and dance...I recognized the Square Dance steps from Asheville High School Square Dance Team some 45 years ago...Loved the energy and Side Saddle Music, especially Rocky Top...Keep explaining the ethnic influences of the region (the Geltic influence explains my husband's W.N.C. accent)...Yee haw and kudos to you all for such a fine toe tapping hand clapping slapping time! Glad I volunteered for my Granddaughter Arianna's Field Trip...Please come back and perform again... Collapse
