Broadway West Theatre Company presents a new twist on an edge-of-your-seat ghost story, adapted from Henry James's short story by Jeffrey Hatcher. A young governess journeys to a lonely manor house to care for two children. But she is not their first governess, her predecessor drowned herself. Now the new governess has begun to see the specters haunting the children and she must protect them. But one frightening question tortures the would-be heroine. Are the ghosts real, or are they the product of her own fevered imagination? Two actors spin this classic tale of suspense for you.

    Great performances and creative blocking with super lighting effect makes this a very different and intersting procduction. Certainly the challenge is in the adaptation not the presentation and it certainly is visually and mentally engaging...it might not be your thing, but literary types for sure will enjoy this gothic retelling!
