Jerome Mouffe began the study of the guitar with his parents at the age of 5. He studied then at the Music School of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels and got the final diploma with the highest results at the age of 15. He entered then the "Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles" where he got the "1st prize Diploma" in Classical guitar and Music Theory at the age of 16. He met and followed the master courses of numerous great musicians like David Russell, Eliot Fisk, Emmanuel Rossfelder, Joaquin Clerch, Pepe Romero, and Pavel Steidl among others. He finished the secondary school at 17, and decided to devote himself to the study of music and guitar. He went on studying at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles where he got the Master degree with honour grade at the age of 20. He won the same year the 1st prize "juvenil" at the international competition Jose Thomas in Petrer, Spain. Then he decided to go and live in Salzburg, Austria, to have lessons with the guitar master Eliot Fisk and his great assistant Ricardo Gallen. In June 2007, he finished with great success the second year of postgrade studies in Eliot Fisk's Class at the Mozarteum Universitat of Salzburg. Jerome went also last June to the US to participate at the Boston Guitar Fest where he won the 2d prize of the competition. Attracted by the enthusiasm and the energy he met in America, interested by discovering another culture, and wishing to pursue his studies at the highest level, he decided to take the Audition at the New England Conservatory in Boston, and passed it with great success. He will consequently move in August 2007 to Boston and follow a Doctor in Musical Arts program at the New England Conservatory in Eliot Fisk's Class. At the age of 22, Jerome has already performed numerous solo guitar and chamber music programs in various countries including Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, and USA
