Narnia is the beautifully told tale of four children, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, who must leave the danger of London's bombing raids during war torn WWII to live in the country with an eccentric professor. It is in his magnificent mansion during a game of hide-and-seek that they first discover a portal into a new, magical and mystical land of beauty - Narnia.

    This presentation of Narnia is charming and features many people new to the stage as well others who have extensive experience. The cast is predominantly young people with a few exceptions. There are two separate casts so if you are going to see someone you know be sure to schedule the correct performance. The overall effects and stage are somewhat minimalist but work well, especially for younger audiences. The costumes are exceptionally delightful. Of particular interest, the White Witch as played by Elizabeth Danu from San Mateo was a special highlight. Ms. Danu brought a marked blend of charm and evil to the character of the White Witch punctuated with a voice that is without peer in many Bay Area venues. Truly a delight!
