    Winner of a 2007 BBC Radio Award for World Music, Debashish Bhattacharya is hailed as "one of the world's greatest slide guitarists." A prodigy who sang before he spoke, Bhattacharya discovered the Hawai'ian guitar at the age of three. Now a master, he has created three distinct guitars and a three-fingered playing style. His rich, multi-toned glides reflect his vocal roots, as "one note can be kaleidoscopically fractured in the hall of mirrors of his complex finger picking" (Acoustic Guitar Magazine).
