On the weekend of December 1st and 2nd the doors to the annual Holiday Art Show and Sale of the 1870 Art Center will be open to the public. All 27 artists will participate in this event from 1 to 5 PM. It is an opportunity to buy art created by the professional artists of the Center, to meet them in their creative environment where their new work may be reviewed, and to observe ongoing demonstrations by some of the artists, including: BJ Stevenson, stone sculpture Susan Trubow, printer Karin Moggridge, therapy knitting with needles provided participants Pat Keefe, "Do your own art" Fred Holle, airbrush techniques On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a drawing of $100 gift certificates which may be used toward the purchase of art at the Center. Refreshments will be available in the studios. Children are welcome.
