    Art enthusiasts and collectors will enjoy the coming of fall with its reminders of the approach of winter and the holiday season in visiting the new gallery show, "When Winter Comes...", art representative of the work of the professional artists of the 1870 Art Center. Selections, many of them new works from the studios of painters, sculptors, photographers, fabric designers and ceramicists will be on exhibit. Examples of the art works on display include Winter Moon by photographer Kay Podolsky and Angus in Winter Pasture by Kevyn Warnock, painter. Also, Karin Moggridge's fabrics studio will offer winter wearables. In addition, Winter at Quail Creek will be found in the studio of Pat Keefe. As a reception for the gallery show all the artists will be in their studios, with refreshments, on the weekend of Dec. 1st. and 2nd, from 1pm to 5pm.
