    Preparatory Orchestra directed by Kris Yenney (PACO '74) further explores and develops fundamentals introduced in the SuperStrings ensemble. More challenging orchestral and ensemble repertoire is prepared for public performances through which the budding young artists further refine the process of creating chamber music together. One Winter concert and one Spring concert highlight the season; opportunities to perform community service at Stanford Hospital's Bing Series and other local venues supplement the season and add the important value of community service to each PACO member's participation. Orchestra members are given ample opportunity to play solo parts, and the occasional addition of wind and brass players allow Preparatory Orchestra to perform a broad range of symphonic repertoire.
