Add Review/CommentThe New Orleans Museum of Art has gathered approximately 80 of its finest works of European and American art from the late 16th to the mid 20th century for this rare exhibition. Among them are paintings and sculpture by Francois Boucher, Wassily Kandinsky, Joan Miro, Claude Monet, Georgia O'Keeffe, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Pierre Auguste Renoir, John Singer Sargent, Giambattista Tiepolo, and Elisabeth Louise Vigee Le Brun.
The vast majority of this collection survived the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This exhibition celebrates the European and American portion of NOMA's distinguished and diverse holdings.
